![]() ![]() In addition, Jonathan has completed years of medical training under Tom Bisio, earning his certification in Traditional Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) and completing courses in Practical Chinese Medicine for Trauma and Orthopedic Conditions. He has even traveled to Beijing, China to train with several masters of Ba Gua Zhang, Qi Gong/Nei Gong, and Qin Na (joint locking and seizing techniques). He is a certified senior instructor through IAI and has studied with practitioners from across the US and abroad. Jonathan was introduced to these arts by his mentor, Tom Bisio, in 2010, and continues to study and train with New York Internal Arts (NYIA) and Internal Arts International (IAI). Now, as a professional instructor and coach, he says, "Perhaps most gratifying of all has been the opportunity to empower others who want to take control of their physical well-being." ![]() These practices allowed him to regain control of his body and empowered him with a sense of complete self-control - physically, energetically, mentally, and spiritually. His own body was a mystery, and sometimes a burden. Before practicing Internal Arts, Jonathan relied on others to fix or heal his ailments. ![]()
